because att verizon are more expensive than tmobile. they can afford to give you more "deals" on the phones.

So. Ordering as new AZ account, arriving on Nov19. Do I need to bring it to AZ store to unlock as soon as I get the phone? So that I can avoid the activation fee? Can someone help?

Will Verizon unlock the phone after 60 days if you payoff and cancel like people are discussing here? The policy seems to imply it must remain active for 60 days to be eligible for unlock which would effectively kill this as being a good deal… I'm afraid to cancel the service and be stuck with a brick.
I'm worried same... Really it will unlock after 60 days if paid off immediately and cancel line?? No clear answer

How many phone can you buy?
Probably based on your credit or if Verizon thinks it's fraud. I'm in for two.

Would it be possible to use Verizon version overseas after paying it off, but before 60 days expiration?
WiFi only for 60 days until they get automatically unlocked.

I just got the iPhone 16 free loyalty promotion after 36 months. Decided to Pay the $100 extra for 256gb model. Only downside was to trade in my old 12 mini but still managed to keep the same $27 unlimited welcome plan. Overall, Pretty good deal .
In my case, no trade in required at all. This offer came in after requesting a porting pin. Last year, they were giving you $10 off per line per month for a year. This time, some got that offer again, some didn't (like me) and seems to have gotten this upgrade offer. Oh well.

Looking to upgrade from an i12pro (deal 3yrs ago - $300 gc offer). I wish i14pro or i15 was discounted down to this price.
Pixel9Pro 30% deal is so tempting but don't want to go thru the hassle of OS/ecosystem change.
Exact same. I scored the 12Pro for dirt cheap and have been patiently waiting for a 14pro-16pro. Asked someone I know that is a sales rep and he said he doubts they'll do a sale. Said everyone that walks in his store either wants the most expensive iPhone, the biggest iPhone or the cheapest iPhone. Says Pro's, Max's, Plus's and SE's fly off the shelf as soon as they come in but no one wants the regular model. They have lockers full. I'll probably just send mine in for battery service if nothing comes up between now and cyber Monday.

That's the consensus in r/Verizon. Unlocks automatically after 60 days even if you keep it in a drawer. But it has to be activated. So once you get it, you have to activate it (ie open the box), then the timer starts.

I ordered a Verizon phone and paid $25 for taxes. Can anyone please let me know the process to unlock a Verizon phone?
Activate phone
Wait 60 days

You can use it on Verizon, and/or pay it off. Your choice.
