Got my Verizon iPhone today. added a payment method on my new Verizon account.
dialed 8008374966 and provided the new phone number
Said "pay off device" when asked the reason for calling and follow the prompts.
Fully paid the 299$ for the device with Automated system without talking with a live person.

Then called in and spoke to a live person and canceled the line.

Last time a bunch of us did this, I believe we learned that the clock starts ticking for the Verizon 3 day cancellation when the phone ships. Thus it was recommended to only buy in store and not for shipping. I was able to buy in store, create account, call Verizon to pay in full and then cancel all within 24-36 hours.

If you're waiting 3 days for the shipment I don't see you getting out of the activation fee.

I paid off my phone and I disconnected my line thru chat.. It said it would be disconnected after 1 month.. When I chatted with agent, he said I wouldn't be charged from the day I disconnected even though line is active.. Is that true or should I try to get it cancelled right away? anyone with this experience?
My guess is they are trained to process cancellations at the end of the bill cycle, which for new lines would be after a month.

You need to insist on having them canceled at that moment.

Was the 60-day unlock from the activation date processed automatically or do you need to submit a request to Verizon?

I see. Thanks! Could you share where to get this kind of unlock service? I use Tmobile too.
Contact T-Mobile t-force through social media app X to request for unlock.

First post is OP, then staff summary, then wiki.

I apologize, I do not understand where it is. I was thinking you meant in the comments section, but I still do not see a wiki in the first page of comments. Can you post a screenshot or more information on the wiki location please?

Verizon activated the phone, hence the 60 day clock started - it will unlock automatically at that point.

That said, it seems eSIM swap worked? Is the physical SIM still locked though?
SIM swap in only for ATT phones.

I was just checking the deal. Do we need to go through the same steps to unlock it? Plus in terms they mentioned $300 Walmart gc for 16+ iPhones and $350-$500 for 15

I searched for it, I found nothing. I'm guessing you mean "Deal Details" or "Community Notes" below the iPhone picture and the "Community Voting" Thumbs?

Did you go to https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/1020210 in browser and searching for community wiki. I have a screenshot but I am not sure how to upload it from the app

The link you posted came up with an "android_app" suffix, and nothing comes up when clicking on that link. I tried searching for "wiki" and "community wiki" on this page and the main Slickdeals site. Any other info is appreciated.
