I've done 6 trade ins. Had issue with 1. The other trade-in were fine.
Can I literally send some super old android phone from 10 years ago?
There's "Other Android Smartphone" category which also gives $350 trade-in credit.

I have this super old LG Android from 2014 that's still working: https://www.gsmarena.com/lg_l70_d320n-6285.php

Would that work?

I took advantage of the previous S21 5G deal. I believe I received my trade in credit a week or ten days after Samsung received my trade in.

No. I have an old S7 but they only go back to the S8. If you have a S8, then yes.

It's actually pretty good. I recently did a tradein for s21. Used a very old oneplus 3 for the tradein.

There are a bunch of reddit threads out there about broken tradein device or screen even when it's intact while packing.

I would advise, while sending in tradein take a lot of pictures and a video of the device while packing.

I have never had a problem, and do it all the time. Perhaps every year or so.

That's a waste to trade-in, keep it as a backup. Trade in something really obsolete.
