Govee has a lot of community and DIY light pattern that's a no brainer for someone who wants to decorate their home without dropping serious $ for pro install

Agreed. The community is I big part of Govee along with HomeBridge integration. Also, the high end Govee Pro has the same IP67 rating.

You really want warm light for outdoors or else the white light looks like a construction site. This product as well as the govee pros do the warm lighting.

It will take ages for the plastic to break down so regardless of whether they continue to light up or not - there is some permanency to it XD

I've tried using Alexa and Google Assistant for it, and they work great.

Ugh just purchased the Govee strip light without doing too much research, would much rather the indavidual LED's versus the ROGB looking strip. Haven't opened the box yet so considering just returning and getting these

How does this product do more than one strip? As in how are they showing different roof structures all lit up with one 105' string

I think you can get replacement light string under warranty, I guess, just message their support.

The govee pro supports cutting and splicing with almost any 2-conductor wire. That's key to making this look good.
