All current Tracfone , Straight Talk, Total Wireless, Simple Mobile ONLY operates and activates on the Verizon Network exclusively. That's cause Verizon bought all of them. So any new phone will unlock in 60 days from ALL of them.

$262 otd to California. After reading 25 pages, here's my summary:

1. Use PayPal to get 7.5% back by logging into your PayPal account and search for promos, select StraightTalk. Will take you directly to StraightTalk site. That's what i did.
2. Chase card has 15% promo but caps at $15 discount, based on other users. I do not have Chase.
3. Purchase iPhone 13 with Silver plan. Must be Silver or higher to get $200 phone discount.
4. Do not select autopay to see PayPal payment option.
5. You can ship to different address if you're gifting it. They just need to understand the terms if they plan to unlock and use elsewhere or just stay with StraightTalk.
6. New phone needs to be activated, through StaightTalk online, for 60-day unlock countdown to begin. Phone does not need to be opened/used.
7. After the 30 plan expires, do not purchase another plan. Use it on WiFi or not at all.
8. After 60 days, phone will automatically unlock for any carrier.
9. Text "UNLOCK" to 611611 to confirm/see countdown.
10. Hope all goes well for us all.

You don't need to do anything. It should get unlocked after 60 days. Some rare case it didn't get unlocked, go https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/wps/portal/ and give the imei (and the phone number you got) and it will let you "reprocess" the unlock request online, if you still can't get it unlocked, you just call the phone number on that web page and they will unlock it for you. With that said, most time it will get unlocked automatically and you don't need to do anything.

When does the phone unlock if kept in sealed box? When someone finally opens it up and connects to Internet?

Asking this because I had purchased a TW iphone 11 couple years back, activated it by inserting physical sim and forgot it in box. When I finally opened it many months later.. it never unlocked.

After the 60 days from activation passes, the TF/ST system triggers an update in the Apple database. Once turned on and activated, it will follow whatever policy is in the database. It happens pretty reliably, but there have been cases of people having to call TF/ST.

Yes I had ordered two phones in this order. This was actually my second order - my first order (where I also ordered two phones) went through ok (I think - it is in shipped status but UPS hasn't received it yet). For this second order I used a different name/email but the same address and cc as my first order. I used the same cc as am trying to reach the SUB. Did you use different cc's with your orders?

Log into your ST account and you can see the IMEI for your phone(s) there. It's the same as the account number for the line(s).

This deal does come with first month service. Do I need to contact Swtraighttalk to cancel the service after 30 days if I already uncheck the auto-payment. BTW, If I cancel the service before the 60 days, will it affect the auto-unlock ?

It's a prepaid service so there is nothing to cancel. If you don't pay for a month then there is no service for that month. That shouldn't affect your unlock eligibility.

You just need to disable autopay. I would also change your payment info just to be safe - the website won't let you have no credit card on file, but you can update it to a virtual card from privacy.com. Or you can simply change the expiry to the next month (it won't let you add an expired card).

My order status shows: "error in remote fulfillment". I ordered the evening of 11/12. Any idea what this means? No cancellation/refund yet that I see. Wondering if it is just delayed or will be canceled.
