This has been your PSA.
1. Use PayPal to get 7.5% back by logging into your PayPal account and search for promos, select StraightTalk. Will take you directly to StraightTalk site. That's what i did.
2. Chase card has 15% promo but caps at $15 discount, based on other users. I do not have Chase.
3. Purchase iPhone 13 with Silver plan. Must be Silver or higher to get $200 phone discount.
4. Do not select autopay to see PayPal payment option.
5. You can ship to different address if you're gifting it. They just need to understand the terms if they plan to unlock and use elsewhere or just stay with StraightTalk.
6. New phone needs to be activated, through StaightTalk online, for 60-day unlock countdown to begin. Phone does not need to be opened/used.
7. After the 30 plan expires, do not purchase another plan. Use it on WiFi or not at all.
8. After 60 days, phone will automatically unlock for any carrier.
9. Text "UNLOCK" to 611611 to confirm/see countdown.
10. Hope all goes well for us all.

Meanwhile I looked at the small envelope and it asked me to go to total by verizon website. And I did, I put in the IMEI number and it asked me to pay for the first month and I got confused.
Then I went to my order I realized I ordered via straight talk, I then went to straigt talk website , now the activate page read my IMEI number and tells me my line belongs to another network.
After various calls, then i gave up. I logged in to my straight talk website I saw my IMEI number, but when I tried to activate it, it asks me to pay another 45 usd.
I felt I got robbed, should I just return this one and get a full refund? or I lose my 45 already? First time at this site I felt I got robbed.
I know I should have read carefully about the straight talk sign, but then paper work they gave is very confusing.
You can't share codes on SD so you'd have to message someone - outside of SD, course
I can confirm this as a current member who has referred 50+ people.
the first agent seems very promsing but then line got disconnected purposely or not
the second and third agents seems to be only repeating the script and I stopped them from reading and decided to just return the phone as is. And just realized, I need to pay shipping back to them.

If anyone else is activating while using the same email between multiple companies and worried about it, I'd maybe recommend going to the ST website and logging in first before hitting "activate". That may hint at a potential problem if it won't log you into the ST site and avoid hitting an issue mid-activation. In other words, make sure that you can successfully log in at ST and clear up any issues with that before attempting activation.
