Any notable reason to upgrade from 11 Home to Pro? Can this upgrade an OEM license in place or does it require a fresh install? BTW, here come 17 pages of rants how bad this (theoretical) grayware is from people who 'hack' Home Depot IRL

Pro is certainly worth it for a lot of people, and for this price there's no way I wouldn't get pro. I'm tempted to pick one up just knowing I'll probably be forced into it from Win 10 in about a year.

Thanks, for that great comparison. I forgot about Bitlocker too, that's a huge selling point all by itself.
Windows has now detected that this is not a legal version. Slickdeals needs to talk to the OP about putting up deals like this that are in a grey area of sales.

Who be the verified partner selling this? The same possee seems to be selling this on Groupon. To the OP who bought it, who was the seller as it states the name of the merchant is disclosed after sale.

Sorry looked at the wrong purchase. Paypal says the seller is Groupon Inc. Might have said something when I first bought it ,and redeemed it, but now I don't recall.

Might as well google it, can find MS Windows 11 Pro for $5-10.
Gizmodo is writing "articles" about it.
