The Maxwells are basically the best audio quality wireless gaming headset out there. They are fairly heavy, decent mic, long battery life. The difference between the Xbox and PlayStation versions is the Xbox one comes with a Dolby Atmos license and the Playstation one comes with Tempest 3D. They both work the same on PC, other than the Xbox version includes the Dolby Atmos license and if you have the PlayStation version you can either not use the Dolby Atmos app on the PC or buy it for like $15 separately.

I had these and returned them. The amount of issues i was going through with this headset was not worth the money. Save your money.

I honestly haven't had any issues other when sidetone is on there's a very slight buzz if there's no noise - that's caused by a design flaw though and is on all of them. That sucks though you ran into issues with yours :/

Kind of wondering if the V2 of it will be the headset to get. With Sony owning Audeze (the maker) now I'm not sure what their plans are but there are no rumors of it yet.

I hear a faint water drop/ clicking sound on mine only when there's no sound playing. Doesn't bother me personally since I only wear them when I want audio. They have amazing sound quality.

I haven't really experienced much issues with audeze. I did have a left ear cup suddenly stop working on the Maxwell after 13 months of using it but reached out to Audeze and they replaced it for me which was 1 month outside the 12 month warranty period. I own about 7 of their products so far.
