You can buy the mesh baskets separately from Amazon or Temu. We buy the 3 pack so we always have a clean one available.

You can also use the air fryer paper liners to separate the food from the non stick coating.

We use both simultaneously.

That's a good idea. Wondering how this basket air fryer diff than the oven type? Like the cuisinart on sale from target or Costco with steel basket

They appear to be very similar. Nice thing is that you can stack them and cook different things.

I was actually going to ask about that. I want to get my own, but every SD ost has comments about PFAS. But when I use one, I always put my food in foil anyway, so that should sidestep those concerns, yes?

It is not a deal if it is just airfryer without toast option. And brand is also not reputable brand to make it even worth this price.

I bought a similar one about a year ago. It was used a lot, but the heating element stopped working about a week before the warranty was up. They sent a new one after seeing my receipt.

Also I use 8" parchment paper liners that have raised sides.

Aluminum is one of the worst things you can use from a health perspective, of course lead is bad too.

I have this very one and have had it for close to two years. We use it ALL the time. We always use the brown parchment liners. Especially because it's easier to clean. I will say my wife did notice that the basket is flaking now. I happen to stumble on this thread because I'm looking for a new one to replace it for that reason. Other than the flaking, this has been a quality air fryer for us. I'm going to get the one at Walmart since it's pretty much the same model except that the basket has a window.
