Hexclad is a scam. Just look at YouTube reviews. Either go stainless and/or non-stick, but not some weird combo all in one version.
Does it come with a chef for a year?
This is an amazing deal if you can get all the cash back, etc to work. Would jump on this if I didn't already have a set of Demeyere. It is amazing cookware that is a significant step up from mainstream brands you might see like Calphalon. IMO it's a step up from All Clad's D3 line as well.

Is this sealed? I have an issue with my 3 ply cookware where the aluminum core gets eatened away at the rim and it's super sharp now and cutty. I run my pans in the dishwasher and am willing to pay more for a solution.

These are not going to fail on you. They are tanks. I don't often put my demeyer in the dishwasher, but I have. A huge advantage to this brand is not having rivets. They are so much easier to clean and scrape out every last bit with a rubber spatula without rivets.

No doubt it's a good quality set, but $1400 is pretty laughable. Why would anyone skip a made-in-the-USA-all-clad SS set that sells for about half the current sale price and pay double for this when all AC is considered tops in the industry for durability and quality? How is this worth 7 times more than a similar Tramontina tri-ply full clad 18/10 made in brazil set from Costco that sells for $200? The only way anyone can justify $1400 for a set of 5 pots and pans is if they are made of copper, and even then it's a tough sell.

Not having the rivet things on the inside is worth an extra grand tbh.

I love Demeyer Atlantis and Industry 5 lines of cookware, but I would not get this configuration unless you really need all of the pans in this set in the sizes being offered. Yes, you'll technically save money versus buying every one of them separately. However, it's helpful to do an inventory of your cooking needs and determine which pans in which sizes are ideal, and then shop for those pans. This will limit the crowding of drawers and cupboards with pots and pans you never use and also make cooking more enjoyable when you are using a pan in the size you want rather than forcing yourself to use a size that was in a set. You might pay more that way, but you might not when your aren't buying additional cookware you don't need or want.

Lifetime warranty on Atlantis. Made in Belgium is better than Made in USA no offense. But why are you coming into Demeyere atlantis threads hyping up AllClad? The people who use Demeyere Atlantis have probably already used AllClad and moved on...

I have this set from Costco. Just one note is that the pans are heavy… keep that in mind

With that reasoning, just get your pots and pans from ikea and call it a day.

allclad is a Lexus, but demeyre is a Bugatti. one of those things you really can't appreciate until you cook with them. the no rivets thing is huge, but so is the coating that use makes these super easy to clean. but most importantly, the core is so much thicker than allclad that cooking performance is head and shoulders above

Buying from Costco is important if you want to easily return items if they fail. All-Clad from Costco is probably the most I would need.

Not having rivets sounds intriguing.
