Hexclad is a scam. Just look at YouTube reviews. Either go stainless and/or non-stick, but not some weird combo all in one version.

This is an amazing deal if you can get all the cash back, etc to work. Would jump on this if I didn't already have a set of Demeyere. It is amazing cookware that is a significant step up from mainstream brands you might see like Calphalon. IMO it's a step up from All Clad's D3 line as well.

Stainless lasts a lifetime. Hexclad you will throw out in a couple of years. Better to put that money on a stainless set plus a nonstick skillet.

Tramontina is a decent All-Clad knock off, their aluminum layer at 2.5 mm is only slightly thinner than D3 at 2.6 mm. But in this set, the Atlantis sauciere is 3 mm of aluminum and the fry pan is 4.8 mm. Not to mention all the other useful design features of Demeyere.

The simple reality while you all argue about brands is that most home cooks will have no need for the Atlantis line. It's very heavy and all diminishing returns anyway. The big difference between All Clad and Demeyere is the rivets. Once you have rivet less cookware you don't want to go back. I would recommend any home cook go with the Industry 5 line from Demeyere. It's a great middle ground.

the Atlantis line is very much tailored to a home cook. Rivetless design is easier to clean, which isn't as necessary in a commercial kitchen where you have a someone hired to wash dishes. The higher heat capacity also helps home cooks because they don't typically have high-btu burners.
