This would have been a decent deal, until Jackery 5000+ came out recently and at $3500 with a free smart panel, it is a much better deal. Jackery is 1KWH smaller but in terms of output kw, solar input kw, they are fairly equal.

Jackery is 60 kwh and 60 amps max (240v), Ecoflow is 90 kwh and 90 amps max. If you need a bigger system you have to go Ecoflow

I am not partial to any brands but want to keep the numbers straight. If you Google or watch some recent Youtube reviews of Jackery 5000+ you will find each unit outputs 7.2KW (240V@30A) and surges at 14.4KW. And it has a 5 KWH onboard battery expandable to 30KWH of batteries. An Ultra inverter outputs 7.2KW that surges at 10.8KW. And each Ultra battery is 6KWH expandable to 30KWH. Where Ultra > 5000+ is the smart panel having an extra input to add another 7.2KW of output and 30KWH of additional batteries, but at $3500 (current price with a free smart panel) the 5000+ is a more compelling buy.

I'm talking about the total expansion limit with the smart panel bundle, which is what both prices you're talking about have.

I sold my new, unused SHP2 for $1200 on eBay in Sept (netted ~$1050), which was the replacement for my failed unit. In case anyone is weighing up just getting the inverter and battery vs inverter, battery + SHP2 (and maybe selling the SHP2).

To me the trolley is almost useless, the batteries are 100lbs so no one is moving these things regularly and the trolley doesn't help much more than the stand with lockable wheels that comes with it anyway.

Solid deal though, $4k for the inverter and battery is about the best you'll get it for today, plus $1k for the SHP2. There are sellers online that you might be able to sell cheaper though depending on your state, as some don't charge sales tax and will price match. Examples for me in Texas are Outbound Power and RackUpGo.

Problem I see with the Jackery smart panel branch circuits are limited to 30 amp 10ga while the Ecoflow SHP2 you can go to 60 amp.
