Out of the three combo units available the Samsung is easily the best one. The coil washing implementation on the LG isn't robust enough and the GE lacks one entirely. I've been very happy with the Bespoke unit and originally had a terrible brand perception of Samsung appliances.

I have had this for almost a year now.
I was the earliest adopter possible.
Got this for $1700 as LG rolled this out last year.

As for the space saving all in one functionality, I love every bit of it.
I started running into problems with the drying sensor.
It would get down to under 10 mins and then it reset itself again for another few minutes.
Sometimes it gets in an endless loop and the machine gets very hot.
I just have to remember to to turn it off.
I need to call service for this before the warranty ends.
I'm thinking about sending the $200 for the extra 2 yrs since I'm having problems.

This technology is still being perfected and I understand that as an early adoptee.
I would easily buy this for $1300 and buy the extra 2 yr warranty.

If I forgot to add extended warranty, can I buy it separately and apply it to the unit when it arrives? Or does it need to be on the same order??

You can add the All State plan from Costco up to 90 days after purchase.

Yes and no. I have the new Samsung AIO version of this LG. If you do smaller more frequent loads, it's neglible. If you do larger loads, yes it takes longer. For me at least, the longer times is offset by other factors:1) I often don't get a chance to move cloths right after the cycle is done2) If I completely forgot to move it, I had the stinky cloths issue where I had to rewash it and hope most of the smell disappears3) I now run large load of clothes at night and wake up to fresh dry clothes
Completely agree with you. I have the samsung as well and will never go back. The savings on the electricity is even better than I would have imagined. Like you, we usually do a load right as we go to bed and have not once worried about how long it takes.

Anyone have any insight on LG vs Samsung for these AIO heat pump units?
I went with the Samsung for the coil wash and most reviews has it drying clothes better.

Strong word of advice check if your state currently has a rebate on these (my state is supposed to do so but hasn't yet started it) https://www.energy.gov/save/home-upgrades

Also make sure you religiously clean the various filters on this as there have been reports of All in One units having issues due to lint/etc clogging things (downside of being an early adopter, you're the beta tester of designs)
I stayed at an AirBnB with an LG last week and it would not run a cycle without at least opening the filter thingy on top to at least make it think a person has cleaned it.

"Ventless." Where does the moisture go then, it has to go somewhere right?
