Yes and no. I have the new Samsung AIO version of this LG. If you do smaller more frequent loads, it's neglible. If you do larger loads, yes it takes longer. For me at least, the longer times is offset by other factors:

1) I often don't get a chance to move cloths right after the cycle is done
2) If I completely forgot to move it, I had the stinky cloths issue where I had to rewash it and hope most of the smell disappears
3) I now run large load of clothes at night and wake up to fresh dry clothes

Strong word of advice check if your state currently has a rebate on these (my state is supposed to do so but hasn't yet started it) https://www.energy.gov/save/home-upgrades

Also make sure you religiously clean the various filters on this as there have been reports of All in One units having issues due to lint/etc clogging things (downside of being an early adopter, you're the beta tester of designs)

People hate on these because they're different and they're not for everyone but I've owned this LG for nearly a year.

Plan on ~monthly maintenance: clean refill soap dispensers; wipe with damp cloth or rinse lint vent, door seal, and heat pump radiator fins (carefully, I use a toothbrush); clean out the washer filter, run a tub clean cycle.

Dry garments made mostly with synthetics separate from natural fiber for more even & accurate drying. Some dampness feeling at the end of drying can be shaken off (closed air drying system).

Mostly automated washing & drying, more free space without a separate dryer, my electric bill is noticeably less, and now using the dryer doesn't involve pushing conditioned air out of the home.

I own one... you don't have to open the top and pretend to clean it (also it takes 15 seconds). Just hit ok on the dial screen and move past it
Gotcha. AirBnB so have total experience of a single load. I did mess with controls got a minute, then - where is this filter!? There was some bedding on top so it took a sec to discover. It was clean, but whatever - allowed me to proceed after lifting it out and replacing.

Do you think the Samsung one is significantly better?

I'm having a hard time finding direct comparisons with the 3 new AIO heat pumps that seem to be out right now (GE , Samsung , LG)

If trusting of Costco.com reviews, the Samsung fares better at 4.5 vs the LG at 4.0

I am thinking about getting two of these to replace a conventional washer and dryer. Does anyone know if you can stack one on top of another?
You can't stack due to the filter door on top.

I was just looking as well and saw $1799. Unless there's a trick I'm missing it appears dead. Any other good AIO deals coming into Black Friday?

So I received two units and they came with the hot and cold water lines. I had to buy a splitter for both lines to get them both connected. Loads take between 2.5-3.5 hours to complete so far. Clothes came out bone dry. For $2000 for 2 units its a bargain. So which insurance did you guys buy if you bought two units? The allstate under $1,000 or the $1,000-$2,000 pack??

I purchased the Allstate 3 Years (For Laundry Suites Under $2000) (Item 1059340). I purchased two units at just under $2K with discount.

I contacted all state to ask which warranty is the correct one to buy. They said buy the under 1k major appliance for each machine. I haven't purchased it yet because I'm also looking into the warranty from LG directly which is about $180 each machine for 3 extra years. The reviews for the Allstate coverage aren't the best from what I was reading.
