I'm looking for a 4070 system and hoping someone will say "THIS IS THE ONE" with so many deals coming every day lol. Im not sure which one to get!
I've been PC shopping for a friend these past few weeks and these are the ones i've been looking at. This is a solid system but it's running on DDR4 RAM, it would only cost $80-ish to upgrade though and you would be getting a 4070 super vs a normal on the other PC's i';m going to list. One thing to think about is that 650W is sitting right on the edge of what is recommended for a i5+4070 system and we don't know the PSU model. A safer bet would be the Alienware deal if you choose the 1000w PSU option for +$50 which puts it at $1.3k. You're also getting a i7-14700k which is pretty much as good as it gets right now. I would NOT run this CPU/GPU combo on the included 500W PSU, the i7-14700k is a very power hungry CPU. The ABS Stratos Ruby[newegg.com] is a very similar build but with a larger PSU (750W) and a better CPU
Personally with PSU failure being one of the biggest killer of prebuilt gaming PC's I would pass on this guy and go with one of the other 2 options. Some other things to think about are with the ABS Stratos Ruby you're getting a Ryzen 5 7600x which beats the i5 1440F in pretty much every category but the biggest advantage is that AM5 is going to be supported until 2027 which means you can keep this same build and upgrade your CPU down the line if you're looking for a little more power (If all you plan on doing is game you probably won't need to, it's more than enough as is). The advantage of the Alienware is you get Dell warranty and Customer support which are top notch, a compact build which should run quieter than the others which are air cooled and the best CPU out of the 3.

Maybe you can help suggest a cpu for me! I'm looking for a cpu all I care about is/need is speed and storage. Don't care about graphics cards for gaming or any of that stuff. Also, one that supports like 3- 4 monitors. it be great if I can just plug in the monitor. I will be using it for stock trading. So charts and stock software…
If I can get something that supports 3 monitors is fine too.
