The prices on these LEGO kits always kind of confuse me. Here's a kit priced at $19 and here's another kit about the same size and complexity for $112. Both FP deals! 😂

Usually, the number of parts and complexity is very different. This is a Lego stud based kit. The other may have larger number of pieces as well maybe it is a technic LEGO

This is a good deal. What I am saying is that some people want a very large model at a great discount because they have teenage kids or maybe they are adult fans of LEGO. Kits with $100+ price point are usually harder to handle for many younger kids. Some are buying these for their much younger - elementary school kids for a great discount. This set will be more suitable for younger kids.
That being said, some people like me just like Lego so get it no matter the age rating. I was just answering the question why some Lego sets are way more expensive than others. This is a great deal, just the set is more appropriate for younger kids.

Is this like a Lego vs. Technic situation? I can definitely understand the complexity difference between those two, just want to make sure I'm on the right track.

I'm long removed from legos but my 5 year-old likes them so I'm getting back in the game. It's been fun!
