Horrible product and an even worse company. I bought one last winter and it would not stay on for more than 10 minutes. Every single time it would turn off after 10 minutes of AC power. I sent pictures, video, proof of purchase, etc, everything to customer service and after weeks of back and forth they basically said, not our problem, thanks for the money customer. Unfortunately, I paid with PayPal. I filed a claim with them and while it resulted in my favor PayPal and CTechi said I had to pay for return shipping...to China. I got a quote and it was going to be almost $150 for that, more than I even paid. I ended up filing a dispute with my credit card carrier, Chase, that I had used to pay through PayPal. I was worried about my PayPal account getting closed, but I was assured it wouldn't happen after just 1 time, and thankfully it wasn't.

First of all, I'm not associated with this company, can you help elaborate what load are you using on the AC load? the rating for this only 200w for AC output, not sure if that's the continuous/surge/peak. so if you are running a 200w lightbulb, it'll last maybe 1 hour at most given the DC/AC conversion losses...
It did not matter what I was trying to use. Even low wattage like charging a phone. I was not trying to use a 200w light bulb. The battery was not depleted after 10 minutes of using it as turning it back on would show what the battery was at before. Just no matter what it would turn off after 10 minutes.

I have a Ctechi GT300, had the same problem that you are describing. There is a setting on mine that turns the unit off if there is no load after a short time. Once I figured out how to turn this off, (a bit tricky) it works great.

Thanks for the review. Reminds me why it's to buy these type items from Amazon. Easy returns.

How did you do this? I would try it, but mine turns off even with a continuous load.

Even Amazon is getting worse about returns. I used to pay as much as I could with PayPal but their claim and dispute process takes forever and as I shared in this experience they still wanted me to pay for return shipping to china. It's why I make sure to buy everything with a credit card now.

manual here, if the link is not allowed go to ctechipower.com, support, user manuals. For the GT200 the setting is on page 9 under D. Combination Keys. Good luck, maybe it will fix your problem:
