Seen this on the black Friday spreadsheet. Looked it up it was 149 on site. Went to store 149 so I bought one. Son should be happy.

Neither are OLED? Why even bring that in the comparison of these two monitors?

Wow great price for the mid range monitor. IMO this put the $229 Samsung curve 4k monitor to shame.

Ordered. Cant wait to see if I can get 1440p 120hz on my Xbox Series X and 1440p 60hz on my One X and PS4 Pro

I bought this recently off amazon for $200 so a good deal. It was on the HW Unboxed best monitors of 2024 June update video (that was the -QD model though, not sure if this is the exact same one from Costco): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B...1vbml0b3Jz

No, the Costco version is the non-QD model but it's still a solid monitor.

I'm waiting for a G2724D sale. Rtings says comparing this MSI to the G2724D:
Quote :
The MSI G274QPF-QD and the Dell G2724D [rtings.com] are both 27-inch gaming monitors. However, the Dell is the better monitor for most people. The Dell has far better black uniformity, so there's less cloudiness on the screen in a dark room. The Dell also gets brighter in HDR and SDR, so it's better at overcoming glare, and it also has a faster response time, so fast-moving objects look crisper. However, the MSI has a better HDR color gamut, so HDR colors look more realistic, and this monitor is the better choice if realistic HDR colors are important to you.

Pros:
NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium compatible
HDR 10 support for better color performance
Adjustable stand with tilt, height, and pivot options
99% sRGB color gamut coverage

Cons:
More expensive
Not OLED (some users prefer OLED for deeper blacks and better contrast)
