Yes they do that every year around Black Friday and Christmas. If apple care is important to you then Costco deal is your best bet. If cheapest price is more important than look into Deals like this plus check your credit card offers as I often see 10% cashback deals from Staples. Also Amazon: if you have Amex/Chase/Discover and are eligible for their pay with points promotions for 10%-40% off when using points (YMMV) that's usually the cheapest way to get airpods

Costco will do price adjustment within 30 days of purchase.

Does anyone know if Costco does not price adjust for "Black Friday" sales? Anyone successfully get them to price adjust based on a previous "Black Friday" sale?

Is price adjustment just price matching other retailers? If so, how would they do this if no other retailers offer AirPods bundled with AppleCare?

I started hunting for the Pro 2 when Amazon was selling for $180. I missed that deal and was ready to buy at Costco for $200 including two years of Apple Care. I happened to check with BB and it was $170 and with my Gen3 trade in (-$45), I was able to get them for $125. That $170 only lasted a day or two. I suspect $170 is the new low price for the time being. If you can wait, I would set your buy at $170.
