Last year Thanksgiving $1.99 Hulu plan is going to expire this month.
Two options:
1. When you cancel current $0.99 plan, it will give $2.99 plan for 6 months.
2. Cancel current $0.99 plan and create new account during this year TG promotion of $1.99 or new promo price with new mail id.

I figured if a better deal came along, I would cancel completely and sign up with a new email.
Thanks, worked for me, too, including retaining the $2/month disney plus add on. Good deal since I already got the email saying they were discontinuing the disney plus add on & were switching me to the duo bundle for $10.99/month. So now less than half for 6 months.
Unless a better black friday deal comes up..lol

BTW, Hulu already broadcast email that their promo is coming to an end, last year's promo. Everyone already knows your "PSA".
Sure, I could alternate between two different accounts every year and still get in on the Black Friday deals, but I hate to lose my watch progress or try to keep two different lists synced. I took the month to catch up on stuff I hadn't watched on Prime Video. So, that kept me busy while I wait for the Black Friday streaming deals to hit.
I had Hulu, Disney+, & Peacock for $5 total the last year. I'm hoping to pick up similar deals this year and/or maybe try out Paramount+.
