Bought this for $300 from Amazon Warehouse in 'Used-Acceptable' condition a few months ago. Arrived in perfect condition with all the stickers and tape on too! Just didn't have retail packaging. https://www.amazon.com/PHILIPS-Au...B0B7P81K6S

I have this and have used it almost every day for a year. Honestly my favorite kitchen appliance I've ever bought. I've only had to fully clean and lubricate it 4 times and it is still running well. If you just want a quick cappuccino without the work, this is it.

Got this for $299 during Amazon Prime Day. It was used and took a chance. It was actually never used just an open box return. YMMV
We used this daily for coffee, capuccino and occational ice latte. It is a workhorse in the household just need to be up to date in maintenance.
Biggest is cleaning and greasing the brew group about once a month. It would be much easier to clean if color is white instead of black. Coffee ground goes everywhere and hard to see when cleaning.
Only adjust water temp to hottest, don't adjust grinder and use Lavazza Super Crema.

There is a mention in the Costco Thanksgiving day deal that you get $50 off buying online on 11/28. Not sure about limitations though.

Bought my wife a "used - acceptable" 2200 (for her office) for $210 and it looked brand new. We already have a 3200. Honestly, the 2200 does everything we care about, coffee and espresso. Both are lattego.

If you buy one, I put it on the edge if the sink and use the sprayer to spray downwards and get all the nooks and crannies as part of my cleaning process. I use the oil remover tablets, then rinse/grease the brew group.

Buy a big tube of food grade silicone lube.

I was waiting for this deal in October to come back but it never did… I literally bought the delonghi Evo /w milk frother for the same price $499 yesterday . Would rather have the Costco warranty but supposedly Evo makes better milk based drinks.
Delonghi makes the better shot from everything I've seen. I don't think you'll regret it over the Phillips.

Correct and Phillips are known to develop leaks. Mine lasted 2 years. I replaced it with a Delonghi.

I'm not a coffee snob but I was trying to find reviews in terms of taste. Do the coffees of this machine taste similar (obviously depending on beans used too) to level and quality of a Starbucks coffee/espresso? I am looking to upgrade from a keurig (i know sad) so was looking for a solid first upgrade.
I was eying the breville express impress which is semi automatic but the convenience from this machine sounds way nicer due to my limited (and laziness) time.
Your opinions and thoughts are greatly appreciated!

If you're on the fence about getting one of these, do it. It's been a really nice quality of life upgrade for my household. I got one on Amazon for "like new" for $400 awhile back and it was perfect.

I bought this from Amazon 2.5 years ago and it had been working perfectly. I use it everyday. I paid $580 at Amazon. If Costco, I would buy it because they have a great warranty and return policy.

I also bought a used -acceptable from Amazon, it was perfect. I use it daily for making espresso and lattes. Has made my mornings so much faster and convenient.

Take the whole unit, remove the brew group and the drawer and bring it to your sink and hose the insides out. I used to spend all this time trying to get every particle of coffee out and it took forever. Don't need to be precious, the whole thing is made to be wet inside.
Anyway, have had it four years, used daily, zero issues. Got us through covid. Cleaning was the only pain, now it isn't.

Can this expensive machine to cook the same or better coffee taste instead of going to the Starbucks?
