Just fyi - I went with iPhone 12 deal with Metro, they sent me refurbished iphone, which has $0 trade in value at the apple stores. Hope this deal is for the new phone…

I have bought a few iphone 12 from Metro and they are all brand new, also apple is giving $180 credit for iphone 12

Its 180 days, but IMHO, unlike other other companies, metro fails to auto unlock many times and you have to either do it by going to settings, or sometimes contact them.

Can't speak about the other carriers, but on Metro the bootloader unlock option is available in the developer settings and the unlock code can be obtained from Motorola. I never went through with unlocking the bootloader as there are no custom roms and on Pixel phones when rooting OTA updates did not work.

nope. stock. they said it was unlocked but it wasn't.
