You mentioned Unlocked. I was talking about not Unlocked.

Just FYI, while the metro policy said you need one year to unlock for now, I did get my another moto phone from metro which was activated at June (after the policy change) unlocked after 180 days.

So I guess maybe actually this edge will also be unlocked after 180 days if it showed 180days on unlock menu.

Updated: Finally got an email that it's shipped after noon, says it will arrive tomorrow.

How long is it taking people to have these shipped? I ordered on Friday, and it said estimated delivery was today (Monday). It's now nearly noon on Monday and it still hasn't even shipped. The site shows it as unshipped, but still shows estimated delivery as today.

Nevermind, searching thread it seems these come with esim. Will have to read through more, never used that before. (I couldn't find the sim in the box, now I know why).

Since this is USB-C, I assume a good USB-C laptop charger can do that, you don't need a special powerful phone charger.

There is nothing proprietary about that. It's USB PD, which is exactly the opposite of proprietary. It's standardized.

You don't have to use an exactly 68w charger. You can even use a 100w one if you want. The phone will never draw more power from the charger than it can handle.
