These are largely show-piece lightsabers. If you want to hit them around, you'll want to look at the various third-party companies on the net. I have Disney and third-party sabers, even the OG Black Series from Hasbro. The Disney/Hasbro sabers are mounted on the wall next to a SW poster. The third-party sabers, with a lifetime warranty, we beat the hell out of. The third-party sabers were a little cheaper but don't have the detail and are not movie-replicas. Depends what you want. I don't recommend fighting with the Disney sabers, they will get scuffed/scratched or worse.

There's great comparison videos on YouTube. There's only a few exterior differences. The main difference seems to come from the electronics. Im talking about the Elite series of course. I slightly prefer the Elite series because of the stand they come with. Makes great for displaying.

I'm not a mega Star Wars fan by any stretch but when I was at Disney last year I was EXTREMELY impressed by these in person. I had to fight myself from buying one. If lightsabers were real I would have thought these were legit tools of the Jedi 🤣.

Honestly they are pretty neat, far above the quality one might expect.

I saw one of those comparison videos with Hasbro and Disney. They gave the Disney version a slight edge based on the startup sound and color accuracy (IIRC). I have a couple of the Hasbro versions, but they are still boxed.

The hilts are metal. These are the screen accurate replicas sold at Disneyland/Disneyworld. They are high quality show pieces, not kids toys.
