I've put 70,000 miles on a car with Comma (maybe 50k with Comma engaged). I'd pay full price without thinking twice. Comma really shines on long drives.

For the Chevy Bolt EV & EUV Premiere trim with ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), it can keep you in the lanes and steer up to a certain degree. It greatly upgrades the stock ACC since the LKAS (lane keep assist system) just ping pongs you between the lane.

If you use FrogPilot (works best for GM cars), it makes the driving experience much more pleasant on long highway drives.

There is a mode where the lateral control will keep you in the lane while you can still use the accelerator/brake or one-pedal. If you have an older model, it can still do it but you'll need what's called a "comma pedal" to make it work.

Not sure about compatability in the future for the Benz, but considering BMW wants a subscription for the heated seats, I would say that's probably for sure off the table.

Do we know when this sale ends? I have an multi-state trip coming up in the later part of December and would to use the 30 trial testing period for that trip.

Works great of my 2023 RAV4 Hybrid. Road trips are a breeze with this. Have driven with the Comma controlling it in pouring rain, dark nights, rural roads, and combinations of the 3. Still kept the car centered just fine in the lane. Frogpilot is my go-to fork.

I disagree. Installed this on 2022 Ram 1500 and 2024 Ford Bronco Sport. Works beautifully in both. Best things to do is to check compatibility on the comma website. This is an excellent device that provides a great hands free experience in compatible vehicles. I drive a lot for work and no longer want to drive without this device. It was able to be installed in both vehicles within 10 minutes. Open Pilot works without a lot of tinkering. If you want more features you can tinker with it but it is not a requirement.

Couldn't disagree more with this statement.

I have over 50k miles on mine. Took less than 20 mins to install (longest step is hiding wires,) 2 minute drive to calibrate.

Worth it at twice this price, easily.

I added one of these to my Bolt EV

It's literally game changing on how much of a fatigue reduction and safety increase it provides on road trips

I wouldn't think twice at any price $2k or below

Handle it how? I use it daily as lane centering on city streets and it works great. It won't automatically make turns or lane changes or stop at lights and whatnot. Some vehicle models can, it greatly depends on what you drive.

It works on Mazda CX-5. Better so on 2022+ models as it can take much tighter curves (2x times compared to previous ones) and you don't have to keep hands on steering. With SunnyPilot or FrogPilot, you also get features like you controlling the gas & brake and the car takes care of steering (even after pressing the brake) and auto adjusting the cruise speed based on speed limit of the roads.
