If you use FrogPilot (works best for GM cars), it makes the driving experience much more pleasant on long highway drives.
There is a mode where the lateral control will keep you in the lane while you can still use the accelerator/brake or one-pedal. If you have an older model, it can still do it but you'll need what's called a "comma pedal" to make it work.

The future of self driving is with LIDARs clearly. Just see how well the vacuum and mops robots work. e.g, roborock, dreame, etc.
This is a toy and should be treated as such.
While those who own one (myself included) have little or no complaints.
I've been around long enough to know that I'll never open a closed mind, so I won't even bother.
I will say this though, if your car is compatible, and you're on the fence. Order one, (this is a great price) take it for the 30 day test drive and send it back for a full refund if you don't love it.
I'll bet the percentage of returns after use is infinitesimal.
So is it a genuine compatibility issue or just the fact it hasn't been tested yet? IOW, they probably like to actually test the product on specific models before assuming it works.
If you think you alone are safer than autopilot + you, you are sorely mistaken.

1. You don't need a subscription.
2. It installs easy, less than 30 mins if its completely new to you
3. You can move it from vehicle to vehicle
4. It will keep you in your lane, centered, and away from other vehicles
5. It will slow you to a stop, move forward, and act as a normal driver, hands free.
6. It's not going to get hacked and controlled by someone and drive you off a bridge
7. It's not going to be free one day then expensive the next
8. It has a camera and an SD card slot for footage
9. It's user friendly enough a 65 year old can understand it
10. It is night and day better than lane keep + adaptive cruise + Highway driving assist.
If you drive a reasonable amount, 12k/year, and frequently question other drivers intelligence, this makes driving much less annoying. Had mine for 2 years in 4 vehicles, around 50k miles, it's worth every penny.
I take mine when I travel and put it in rental cars. Imagine Florida without worrying about traffic annoyances.
If you don't plan on purchasing it, don't try it, because you will buy it.

PS: this is not first time I am installing anything in the car just in the case for information.
