The lighter ones (2.5 and 5) are usually way more than $1/lb. More like $3 or $4/lb. I needed some so I'm in for some.

Just fyi. bought the cap 45 pounders from a recent, they were terrible (i actually sent them back, lol, sorry UPS.) The center hole was way too big, the plates weren't even round. the plates were almost 2 pounds too light.
The balancefrom plates are even worse.
HOWEVER, I will bet the smaller plates (under 25 pounds) are fine as weird diameters and center holes wont matter as much.

Amazon has added a $25 back on purchase of $100 or more. Just picked up two 45lbs and two 5lbs for $75. That was a cool deal. YMMV, and no idea how long they'll keep it on.
