Tbh, it's basically personal preference between the Bose and the Sony. Both will be a step or two above the Beats.

Bought the refurbished from BOSE for 143$ and received it. It looks like new one and comes with hard case. I received it after 2 days. It is very light weight but the sound quality is fantastic. I feel like every songs sound very fantastic.

QuietComfort SC Headphones are the same as QuietComfort Headphones but feature a soft carry case instead of a hard carry case, and are only available in Black.

Personally I'd prefer getting these new from Costco (if there ever is an issue Costco will make it right) and buying a used hard case on eBay vs used refurbished headphones from Bose with *maybe a new hard case.

I saw the deal for the Bose headphone for $159 with 10% discount (until November 20th). But to be honest, I rather buy from Costco. The return policy for Costco is unmatched. And this deal is good!

Have these and love these. Only thing it does make your ears hot which I think all headphones like these do. Been able to wear them every where including the gym and they stay on. Out the box the sounds not great but once you tweak the settings they sound great. Bought them for around 150.

Looks like time to upgrade my aging QC35 headphones. I'm pretty tired of the mini-USB plus and the battery life isn't what it used to be. I refreshed the covers a few years ago to extend the life. Damn, Bose makes good NC headphones. I can't imagine a plane trip without them (never was a fan of babies crying on airplanes).

i had a beats studio pro and then bought this one refurbished from eBay (sold by Bose). Arrived yesterday, looks just new, absolutely no sign of uses. Sound is much better than Beats SP, light weight and has better noise cancellation. I was listening to music for almost 2 Hrs and did not feel any pain on my ears. It feels really comfortable and light weight. I have not tried the expensive Apple ear phones but for the price I would go with Bose rather than beats (just from my observations) without getting into technicality..
