If you can't see the $35.99 price, turn off your adblocker. I had to turn off both my browser and router adblocker to get the early BF price.

Yes, they will take. Last time I sent $1 wired head phone from Dollar Tree and it was accepted for trade in.

I did a tablet trade in recently. Assuming time given is the same- I odered tablet on the 11/10, shipped on 11/11 at which time I got email with trade-in label, giving me until 11/28 to mail, so 18 days.
So they won't send the label to mail our trade-in headphones until after the new ones ship? I bought these as a gift for my husband, and just realized that since I used his work email to sign up for the edu discount, he'll be getting the emails about this order. Doh! But I need to make sure he looks out for that label to forward to me.

I was able to order, and am promptly returning them. I have an iPhone and these buds can only be controlled (noise cancellation, base/treble boosting) through an app that won't work with iPhone and these buds. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. This should have been made clear in the product description on Samsung's website.

If the CB doesn't apply, just contact them and give them the order #. I've had it happen and they took were able to apply it.
Thanks!

Thanks for this info.
I too have an iPhone and bought this regardless if the Samsung companion app is only available for Samsung devices.

According to this Apple user's review, it's worth a try (especially for the price).

Hope they work better for you....I could not get the noise cancelling to work and the sound was "tinny"

I'm an iPhone user and have been using Samsung Buds+ from 2020. They used to have an app for older earbuds so it's disappointing to see them regress on newer buds. The Buds+ were so good I gave away my 1st gen AirPod Pros and in 2023 I received 2nd gen AirPod Pros that I eventually gave away. I just couldn't move on from the Buds+. These FE are updated Buds+ so I'm excited to try them out. Luckily I have a drawer Samsung A14 thanks to SD so I'll certainly come back to give my thoughts on the out the box experience with an iPhone and if the app is necessary tour iPhone users.

Edit:
After a week with the Buds FE, I do think these are marginally better than the Buds+. The sound is almost the same but slightly brighter than the Buds+, with a smaller/lighter case and somehow the Buds FE feel 'lighter' in ear than the Buds+ do. That's pretty much all. I want to keep the Buds FE but I am noticing a slight 'clicking' sound on the left earbud whenever I move my mouth. It's not bad but it is slightly annoying so I may need to return these as I don't think I could live with such a flaw for the next few years.

Also someone developed an open source unofficial client for Samsung buds that does everything the app does and works on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android so there's no worry if you only have an iOS device to pair with these.
