"Outlet products are final sale, so they are not eligible for 30-day free returns. They are sold without any express or implied guarantees from Pampered Chef®. They may not be returned or exchanged unless damage occurs in shipment. Products sold on Outlet are only available while supplies last."
...so no warranty? 👎

I've had this can opener for ~15 years and my mom has had one for 25+ years. Not only has it stood the test of time, but it just works better than any other can opener I've ever used.

I think a lot of Pampered Chef stuff is just overpriced and/or unnecessary, but I couldn't recommend the can opener enough.

You're also assuming they still make the same product with the same internals 15+ years later

I guess that's true. I just know after I moved out of my folks' house, I went through like 5 can openers that each lasted less than a year from brands like Kitchenaid, Goodcook, and EZ Duz It, but they all dulled quickly and stopped working. The Pampered Chef one has lasted much longer and treated me better than any other can opener I've owned.

I also genuinely think this type of can opener that separates the top from the sides of the can (as this one does) is better than one that cuts the can. It's nice to not have sharp edges or ever have to worry about cutting slivers of metal off, and it's good for people with arthritis or other dexterity issues since you don't have to squeeze the handle. Several other brands offer a similar design.

I have the can opener (takes some getting used to). It works quite well but not worth it even at $19. There are many brands that have same design for less
