I bought this last time it went on clearance like this.
I have since used it too quick charge my phone which it works very well at. In fact you can charge two devices at once with this.
It does not seem to offer pass through charging.
It does seem to take advantage of fast chargers but it gets kind of warm at the cable with the type she goes in.
I used it to jumpstart and 8 cylinder Ford with a dead battery and it worked great! The battery seems to go down very fast though in all honesty it is not the same as my goollu one. But it also cost less over $100 less

I have been keeping an eye out for a deal on one of these small lithium ion jump starters and this deal is an attractive price. However, looking through the reviews, I saw one where the reviewer disassembled this jump starter and discovered that the battery pack is only 2500mah rather than the claimed 12800mah. I noticed that the current Amazon listing no longer claims 12800mah, but it is concerning that they used to do so and makes me wonder what other specs are false.
2500mah is tiny...most external power banks people normally use for phones are 5000mah at a minimum with the more common size being 10000mah.

The product page still claims 12800mah

A 2,500mAh battery would not provide enough power to jump-start a vehicle, as it lacks the capacity to deliver the high current required.

I'm also in the market for one of these, and have been eyeing the basic Noco unit. This is 1/4 the price, so very tempting. But reading the reviews and seeing this type of lie, as well as a lot of "stopped working quickly" posts, I'm going to pass.

Not necessarily true. Ryobi has a 18v jump pack that can use 1.5/2.0 batteries. That's 1500mah/2000mah

This jump starter is literally garbage, cost-optimized to just barely work. For a little more you can get one of the gooloo that are on black friday sale on walmart- check them out, the one for $53.99 is 4500A and even has a boost button. There is a $39.99 one that is 1500A. No coupons or gimmicks.

I can't believe these things even exist. It might run your car radio for 10 minutes. It's not going to start your car. It's a phone charger at best.

I've seen a video of two guys using ak-47's before lol

The Ryobi jump pack is badass. Uses a capacitor to jump. Gets like 40 jumps on a 4.0 battery
