This is a ridiculous comment. No $40 wireless mouse comes close to the quality of the sensors, and the fact that this is the lightest gaming mouse by far puts the price even higher. Definitely overpriced like all Logitech but this sale price is an amazing deal.
The last few years all the best deals have been well before actual BF. I wouldn't expect it to change much. Logitech seasonal deals are usually about 50% off.

PC gaming stuff has gotten stupid expensive. I own this and can tell you it's maybe worth 39.99 MSRP and maybe 19.99 on sale.
Yes it's as light as a feather, it's plastic, not some fancy carbon fiber, the innards are like any Logitech stuff you've owned in the last 5 years; it will eventually have the double click issues and other weird problems.
Ended up just stocking up on the mx 518s corded when they went on sale.

I agree with the 'stupid expensive' sentiment. As a long time MX518 fan (gaming, general use), mine also had the dbl click issue eventually. I tried a Kona mouse and it was fine but the mouse button presses were so light that eventually it too developed a problem - the accidental right click.
I'm using a $25 CoolerMaster wired mouse now, and it's lasted longer that most of the others. I've had it about 18 months. It might be an option for you. Good luck.
Great mouse but mine developed the double click issue. Looking for a sale on the superlight 2 dex to see if it's any better
Love this mouse but every logitech gaming mouse I own eventually got the double clicking issue. I gave up on buying new and just look for broken one on ebay and replace the switch.

Nope they are right. This is not the "lightest" mouse and shows that you have not done your research. Even Razer makes lighter mice, and that's without mentioning the smaller brands that make some under 45g.
In fact you can find a $40-$50 clone with similar performance (3395/3950 sensor), build quality, and MORE durability since it has hot-swappable switches. Not to mention it charges via USB-C compared to Micro-USB on this and it's no competition...
Unless you really need Logitech's warranty or already have other G products there isn't a reason to pick this one up. If you are going to spend $80+ and only want name brand mice you might as well save another $40 and get the optical switch and USB-C GPX2.

lol you are paying for that technology to be super light.
You can get a heavy mouse at quarter of this price.
The amount of engineering that goes into making a super light piece of equipment that doesn't break when you blow air on it, is next level.
This is like sff pc's, you are paying for the engineering and spec. there are people who say, oh why are we paying for something so small...
Anyone who does 3d printing appreciates this tech and understands the relative cost.
LOL.
