Yes it's as light as a feather, it's plastic, not some fancy carbon fiber, the innards are like any Logitech stuff you've owned in the last 5 years; it will eventually have the double click issues and other weird problems.
Ended up just stocking up on the mx 518s corded when they went on sale.

I'm using a $25 CoolerMaster wired mouse now, and it's lasted longer that most of the others. I've had it about 18 months. It might be an option for you. Good luck.
In fact you can find a $40-$50 clone with similar performance (3395/3950 sensor), build quality, and MORE durability since it has hot-swappable switches. Not to mention it charges via USB-C compared to Micro-USB on this and it's no competition...
Unless you really need Logitech's warranty or already have other G products there isn't a reason to pick this one up. If you are going to spend $80+ and only want name brand mice you might as well save another $40 and get the optical switch and USB-C GPX2.

You can get a heavy mouse at quarter of this price.
The amount of engineering that goes into making a super light piece of equipment that doesn't break when you blow air on it, is next level.
This is like sff pc's, you are paying for the engineering and spec. there are people who say, oh why are we paying for something so small...
Anyone who does 3d printing appreciates this tech and understands the relative cost.
LOL.
