HF mini tool boxes have bearing slides on the drawers, much nicer to open and close. Lowe's color options are plentiful though and good enough.

I knew I should've waited to buy that Badland Jack 😭 got it on sale for $289 on Oct 1... But $249 is quite the savings
How do you like it so far? I keep debating on getting one to replace the Pittsburg 3T that I keep in the truck's toolbox. I've only used that thing two or three times since buying it and putting in there and only once for myself. Hard to justify that much $$ for something I'll almost never use, but if I do the fact that it can be used off pavement is the selling point for me. Really shouldn't be going offroading in my RWD dually anyway lol

I was looking for those little Kobalt tool boxes they had at Lowes last year for 12 bucks. I was gonna get most everyone I know one this year. These are 10 and I've heard are better quality (drawer rails, lid stop).Still waiting on Lowes to see because the other ones have more color options but I might want like 10 of those boxes.

Is this actually a good deal on Icon sets?

Which set to start with I'm a buy once cry once type and have been putting off sockets given the price of really kitting out a tool box
Forget about the icon lines.

They will mysteriously become out of stock a few days before the sale.

they are holding back stock they literally just released like 2 weeks ago and were selling throught them so i think they pulled them instead of getting sued in some states for not having stock.

It's great. Bulky, heavy, takes up space in my truck bed, but super convenient on gravel. If you only need it in a shop setting then I'd stick with the Pittsburgh, way cheaper and still nice. Part of my reasoning was helping people on the side of the road, or even parking lots: the Badland tires are extremely helpful.

Jump to the 21:00 mark of this review: the fact that he is (slowly) driving while on the Badland Jack is a huge testament to the quality. Again, unnecessary if you never need it anywhere but the shop.

Yeah as the other guy said they're new items so I think they probably just pulled them until this sale. I'm still hoping lowes has the other ones for $12...I have a few people who'd really appreciate purple and green ones, but I may do a mix and match.

Yeah the off pavement use is the biggest reason for me wanting it even though I don't really worry about getting flat tires. I've helped people change tires way more than I've had to do it myself. If one of my rears goes flat I just drive home and change it or wait until my tire shop opens up. The larger size of the badlands means it'll take up more space I don't really have in the toolbox on my truck. If I remember right it's taller than the Pittsburgh 3T so getting it under cars could be an issue where so far the Pittsburgh hasn't been.

If you are thinking about Icon ratchets, you might want to wait as they are coming out with a new and improved version, which they had on display at the SEMA auto show. Remove the space before the letter y in the link. https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=M_xNuWJ_XY0

Not too much really standing out. I was hoping for the Daytona long reach to be on sale
It was about a month and some change ago. I picked up the purple one for about $180. I expect it to go on sale again

I picked up the mini toolbox for $17.99 at a local store. It's a cool novelty item. They were hiding them in the back knowing they are likely to sell out at $10 on BF. Here's a pic, really not sure what anyone would be willing to put in it, maybe loose screws/nuts, etc.

Yeah I believe the minimum height is 6 1/4, so it's pretty tall, you're right. Hopefully anyone in need of a hand rides a little higher 😂
