HF mini tool boxes have bearing slides on the drawers, much nicer to open and close. Lowe's color options are plentiful though and good enough.

Looks like every other sale paper, nothing stands out.

I was at HF this afternoon talking to one of the managers about those small US General storage boxes and he said they plan to limit the sale to (not sure yet), but either one or two per customer.

I just checked their app and it states "currently unavailable" and none are available at my location either. WTF? Can you not order it online?
They won't be listed as available until either the 25th or 29th. They are not currently sellable product while stores build up quantities. The goal is to have more than 70 total per store going into the sale. There will be limit 2 per person. ITC customers will have the first dibs with early access. Everyone else waits until Friday.

I am going to get that 5" random orbital sander. Does anybody use it?
Yes,
I got one a few years back and for the price, I've been very happy with it.
Got it because the replacement parts for my old Porter Cable orbital sander were substantially more then the price of HF sander.
FYI- Doubt the model numbers would be the same

Agreed.

Right now those 3/8" mids are 25% off, wondering if it's worth another $6 to risk waiting and then they aren't in stock when this sale hits...

Any chance a new version of Icon sockets are coming out next year and that's why they are having the sale?
Meh, I just spent the extra $6 because I was impatient and I was worried I would not be able to find the time to pick them up due to work.

I'm eyeing the $25 jack stands, $11.99 torque wrench and the HVLP spray gun with regulator for $14.99.

Does anyone know if the 120v braun shop lights are that horrible super blue color or something more warm?

They're made to compete with the likes of Snap-On, and by all accounts they do a good job of it, so not really "too expensive" by comparison. They're the price Snap-On SHOULD be.

Check out Torque Test's direct comparison between Icon and Snap-On:

Just an FYI for everyone. Whenever Harbor Freight does a sales paper ad sale like this the next week they ALL WAYS repeat the same sale only its in the form of website coupons for the same price. So if you miss out on the Black Friday sale, you can get the same deals the week after it just requires a little more work.

From my experience they are in the bright white (4,000 to 5,000 Kelvin) category. So no blue from the ones I have.
