Personally I loved this game. So many references back to old school adventure RPG games. I do understand some of the criticism as gameplay can get a bit repetitive at times. Not too grindy, which is nice. For me, the simple gameplay is a plus. I don't love RPGs with multiple submenus of customizing. I like simple, lets me focus on the story and keep moving along. It felt like a SNES title. I thought the story was fun, the characters are interesting, and totally worth $25.
