Note: Adobe's terms of service say that the student rate will renew at the normal rate of $34.99, which would actually make this 50% off across the board. However the special offer says that the original price is $59.99. Perhaps they're saying students are already discounted, but the 70% off is from the normal personal rate? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For those who signed up last year and can't renew, cancel your plan and you'll receive an offer to renew at same price.

Silly question but did you cancel from within the CC app? Or did you cancel on the phone?

Okay so I tried this and it didn't work. Best deal it offered was 2 months free. I clicked cancel again and it did not extend this offer. I had to call Adobe and they told me i wasn't eligible for the promotion because i was not a first time buyer. I countered, telling them that I could not afford full price. In the end, they ended up giving me the deal but it took some phone time.

Just a note, you can pretty much get this pricing year after year without this deal. Just go to their website, manage your account, and start the process of canceling your membership. Theyll offer you the discounted rate for a year as an option to keep you and bam, you're good for another year.
