When I purchased the 256GB version of this microsd card for $20 a while back, I found the write speeds to be abysmal when moving files from my old 128 GB microsd card.
I tried the built in SD card adapter, on-board SD slot, and even pulling the data directly from the internal SSD to the card. Nothing helped.
I purchased a more expensive version and data transfers went through much faster.
I wouldn't recommend this SD card if you're looking to transfer lots of data quickly.

pretty sure speeds vary depending on capacity... so 1TB will be faster than a 256... and 256vs512 etc
