This was $114.99 last November 18 through black friday so this year's $128.99 may be the lowest we'll get.

SanDisk.com has a deal through 11/20 where you can buy two and save 15%. So you can get two SN850x 2TB no heatsink for 220.98 (before taxes) or two SN850x 2TB w/ heatsink for 229.48 (before taxes). Looks like they take PayPal, so if you have a Chase Freedom card you can get 5% back as well. Here's a link to the 2TB without heatsink: https://shop.sandisk.com/products...X0E-00BCA0

needed this 2TB for my external thunderbolt 4 enclosure paired with my costco M4 mac mini 256gb, looking for reliable/longivity ssd drive.
I was thinking about the same vince22: I need some fast, reliable storage for my MacBook. Any recs for a good thunderbolt enclosure?
To others: am I better off pairing this drive (with an enclosure) or simply buying one of the external ssds from Crucial and Samsung?

I have 2 external nvme enclosures from Orico, both rather meh. Using intel 670p 2tb drives from last years BF deals. One is all aluminum and seemingly has better heat management as it gets much warmer than the plastic one. Dont notice a difference in performance.

Id go with the crucial x9 pro before trying to put this into a 3rd party enclosure.

Thank you, lennonst! I'll focus on the x9 Pro.

No children, this is not a good price! Bought these all day long just 12 months ago at $55 per TB! All gen 4 drives belong at $50 per TB now maximum, not a penny more!
We have our troll of the thread. Thanks for telling us what prices were over 12 months ago. Run along now

Tell us child, were you born stupid or is this a skill you've mastered from practice?
