If you don't care for a warranty, you can get the OEM equivalent (SN740) on AliEx for $110 or less depending on the promos.

a lot of people, myself included, are scared of Ali questionable sellers. do you have a few trustworthy ones that we can get the SN740 from? TIA.

This is $70 more expensive than the Corsair MP600 Core. I know... QLC vs TLC, but is it really worth the price difference?

I have the same question. Which one would be better for a Surface Pro 9?

Negligible difference between the Corsair and the WD in real world performance. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference when you're running your Surface Pro 9. Technically, the WD Black is better because it has TLC and higher speeds, but it also lacks DRAM like the Corsair one. I don't think it's worth $70 more than the 2TB Corsair MP600 Core (when it was on sale). I would personally wait until the Corsair MP600 is back on sale for $110 over buying this.

You'd only buy this if you're obsessed with having something that is theoretically better, even if you will never notice it in real life...
