Found a great deal on the Milwaukee M12 FUEL 3" Cut Off Saw, which is on sale for $99 as part of the holiday specials.

To get an additional $20 off, first add a filler item of $1 or more. Then add coupon code 287149. This should take $20 off of a $100 or more order.

You should be able to order for shipping or in store pickup. You can always try to get Home Depot to price match.

Shipping is $9.99 unless you're a member of their $40/year Northern Advantage club.

Just add another item that has free shipping:
https://www.northerntool.com/prod...ush-333522
$2.39 cents, so it's only effectively costing you $1.39 to ship it.

I think it's dependent on your location. Added a few items and it still shows $9.99 for shipping.

Interesting price, but Dewalt's unit is much more capable.
No idea why you're being downvoted for offering an educated opinion. I concur with your assessment. I have this model. Using it to cut off an oversized seized garden hose fitting was underwhelming.

Nice deal, but caveat emptor. Have found Northern Tool to be shady.

Northern Tool has been good to me. Good deal if you can do in-store pickup. Several bare tools at $99 that drop to $80 with a filler. Also stacks with $10 gift card (code 287812) and 3% rebate sites so net $68 without having to do anything shady like returning a battery to HD to trick the system.

Folks are seeing a price and name brand instead of practicality. They can figure out on their own.

Is there a recommend Milwaukee cutoff tool that's "more capable? I've already got several 12V & 18V tools in the Milwaukee family.

Thanks, worked for me! Free shipping and I applied the $10 gift card coupon code and it took also. No idea if I will actually get the gift card though as my total only came out to like $87 after tax.

I don't believe M18 line has a cut off tool, but the M12 line is designed for portability/contractor-friendly and slightly more ergonomic than the DeWalt line..the 20V mentioned has more power (12V versus 20V) but at additional cost, weight, ergonomics and portability. I'd happily use the DeWalt 20V version at home, but prefer my M12 stuff in a bag on the job site.

One of my favorite tools for around the house.

If you need something bigger, put a cut off wheel on a m18 grinder or use a saw.
