If you want a ow sugar alternative try NOMU Skinny Hot Chocolate. At 2 carbs per serving I think it's decent but I'm directly comparing it to what I normally drink. The diabetics in my family love it.

That being said, it's literally a chocolate drink...all normal hot chocolate usually falls between 25-32 carbs per serving. It's okay to treat yourself every now and again. It won't destroy a healthy lifestyle. (Unless you are diabetic, dieting, etc - Then find a different treat)

Nomu had an unsweetened version that was pretty good but I'm not sure why it's not available any more. I'm not a fan of the sucralose aftertaste some drinks have.

Serving size is 3 Tsp. or 36gm with 23gm added sugar in comparison swiss miss has 39gm serving size with 23gm added sugar. Nestle Hot Chocolate has serving size of 20gm with 10gm of added sugar. As per amazon math; Current price of nestle is $0.53/oz, swiss miss $0.14 per Ounce and Ghirardelli is 0.27/oz from this deal.

Normally I just buy the unsweetened Ghirardelli Cocoa powder and add sugar to taste. I suppose you could mix the two for less sugar. The cocoa powder is about $0.86/oz compared to this on sale $0.31/oz (s&s slightly cheaper)

Looked into this. Good reviews and makes more servings for being 1/4th the amount. Everything about this Nomu seems to be healthier too. Not sure of the catch.

Is it really a big shock to anyone that cocoa beans need a metric ton of sugar to taste sweet? Do we need to start putting warning labels on chocolate bars?
