- Activate this offer on your qualifying Chase card for 5% off PayPal purchases (Activate by December 14, 2024). Offer valid from October 1 to December 31, 2024.
- Note: Must enter your info on the promotion page to activate the 5% back on your qualifying card. You may earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases in bonus categories each quarter (on each eligible account).
- Go to the PayPal Offers page
- If not logged in, log in to your account
- Browse the cash-back offers and select the merchants of your choice
- Click on the '+' to save the 5% cash back at Best Buy and/or Walmart offer to your account
- Note: Once you save the PayPal offer to your account, you have 7 days to use it.
- Make an online purchase using your qualifying Chase card via PayPal:
- You should receive 5% cash back to your Chase card + 5% cash back to your PayPal account = 10% cash back total

This might be posted in different ways. I just feel I need to post it specifically for your convenience.
How to do: Activate your 5% quarterly cashback from your chase cards (any) and link it to your paypal. Add 5% walmart and best buy cash back from paypal offers. You are good to get 10% back in total when you shop from Walmart or best Buy.
There are two deals combo:
1. 5% cash back from Chase cards if you pay with Paypal ($1500 limit each card), expired 12/31.
2. 5% cash back from Paypal if you add walmart or Bestbuy cash back offers. (PS.: Whenever you add it, you have 7 days to use it, so you might add it before you are ready to buy; After one use, you need to add it again. expired 01/7/2025.
I got Ebay gift cards from BestBuy and it successfully give me 10% back total. Then I can add Bestbuy offer again to my offer and buy more!
Good for the shopping season!

I did what you did and went to Best Buy, but ran into -- likely the same obstacle. When I chose Paypal to check out at Best Buy and confirmed order, it threw up an error. So then I decided to try splitting the payment between my bank and the remainder on the Chase credit card, and still another error.
I think this is an issue with Chase, since these two retailers are giving problems; but at least Best Buy has the decency to halt the order confirmation, instead of just charging your bank through Paypal.

I ended up hours later getting a decline transaction text from Chase. I had to approve the transaction and order it again, and it went through.

Has anyone had any quicker confirmation? I don't necessarily want to be sitting on $1500 of WM GC for too long.
I assume it's the business gold plus, which has 4x on bestbuy (electronics retailer), + 25 off 250, + 5% on paypal. Some people in this thread say paypal can trigger the amex offer.

Then I selected PayPal for checkout and choose my Chase credit card for 5% cashback. I also verified on the PayPal checkout page the 5% cashback on PayPal.
From my understanding, this should be 18% cash back total? If so, this is very slick indeed and will save me ~$100 on my 20TB harddrives.
