After assembling and testing, I think this is a great starter bike for those who are wary of entry level exercise bikes and already are in the iFit ecosystem. This is basically just a bike with the most minimal "console" possible. The idea is you install iFit on your iPad, pair your heart beat monitor or smart watch to your iPad and then use the tablet as the screen for using the bike. When set up, it provides an experience that rivals many of the $1500 bikes and I love the fact you aren't buying a piece of equipment that is going to be a paperweight (or an OG manual mode only piece of equipment in 2-3 years).
Wife loved the scenic ride experience, programmed resistance levels and the ability to see her heartrate seamlessly integrated on the workout screen.
Aside from the barbell holders, the build quality is above average and everything is rock solid when adjustments are locked/torqued down. I used Loc-Tite on all assembly bolts. This thing is a no brainer if you already have an iFit capable treadmill and you are looking for a way of keeping your cardio fitness up while allowing for run rest days.

I've had the opinion for a while that manufacturers should make lines of exercise equipment where they concentrate on build quality and materials while adding minimalist "heads" that connect to iOS, Android. Most people get a new tablet every few years and thus they would be able to keep the user experience fresh and responsive since the actual exercise hardware would only have to control things such as speed, incline/decline, resistance, etc. I'd pay top dollar for a set of machines designed this way.
