Am I the only one that feels like they're not christmas lights without the classic bulb look? String stuff just doesn't seem to do it for me...

Also I feel like Xmas tree lights should always have green wire.

How long do I need for a well lit 10 foot tree? Is one strand of the 164 feet long enough?

I have 1200 twinkly lights on my 8ft tree.

This has 300.

I usually run 3000-4000 traditional LED lights on a 10-12 ft tree. But those are only $5 per strand of 100.

I bought the 100' to put on a silver, 6' tree and it was just a little long. I paid $20 more, so I just re-ordered to return on the original invoice. Tempted to get another set, as I really love them!

If it is a wide tree, and you want to bury them and wrap some, and not just run around with lots of visible wire, you might need 2 of the 100' ones. But, I think you can make the 164' work if you want the control of just one continuous set. They are beautiful with all the different options, plus the share space downloads.

I'd really recommend twinkly over govee for string lights. Twinkly's camera 3D mapping is great while govee's barely works. Twinkly lights are basically the same price on sale.

The twinkly similar to this doesn't have white; only RGB.

On a 10' tree by ~5' wide , which is bigger than most people's ceilings, needs 250-300' of lights, at 4 bulbs per foot. But it highly depends on the girth. If it's a fatty tree, add about 20%.
I believe this is 3 bulbs per foot, so I would go 300+ feet of lights for a 10' tree.

Lights but not feet. 4000 lights is probably 1000', which is a lot. It definitely won't be dark.
