Using EDU EPP...I bought the 65" for $1002.99 plus tax. Agent applied the 10% off coupon and it was my first "app" purchase so got another $50 off in the app.

I am currently talking with the chat. I just said " I've asked around and heard that chat usually has a bit more flexibility in making the price more appealing"
and the chat agent replied "yes, we have 2 discounts" and listed the free install and bezel or the 10% discount. I then asked about the $50 off mentioned in a post about using the app...and the agent said "correct, thats for your first purchase using the app"...so it may be YMMV if you used the app before.

Are you sure it was burn in? I know they did a 24/7 test that resulted in LCD burn out, where LCD lights were weaker or less uniform over time, but not burn in. The frame TV was included in this testing:

It is not burn-in but the effect is arguably worse and tougher to counteract. The problem is that the LED backlight is concentrated at the bottom edge (this is an edge-lit TV!) and heat builds-up there to high enough levels that the LED back panel assembly deteriorates developing distortions, cracks and non-uniformity. The only thing one can do is have the TV operate at lower brightness levels/shorter periods of time so that heat does not build-up in the panel.

Still, if one wants it, this is a good discount over the too high full retail price but these are mediocre TVs at best and now that there is more competition in the space from Hisense and TCL I would expect Samsung to face pressure to adjust the premium it has been charging.

We've owned a Frame since 2022. I think it's always been overpriced and there are a lot of compromises. In terms of picture quality, the backlight is horribly uneven. That's probably the only visual issue most user will notice. The OS is laggy, slow, and apps freeze frequently. Sound quality is the worst of any TV I've owned, so you must use a soundbar in most rooms. I knew most of these issues from reviews prior to purchase. With all that said, it's the best and only model for our use case in one room for 2 reasons:
1- the anti-reflective screen. We have a family room with many windows and skylights just over the tv and fireplace. My glossy oled would never work there. However, the Frame screen is viewable even with sun shining on it.
2- it's mounted above a fireplace and a huge pain to get power and video cables to mount a traditional TV. With the frame, we hide the single wire along the mantle to a cabinet with the control box beside the fireplace. It's good enough and makes connecting accessories and gaming stuff much easier.
It looks great and guests think it's a painting. I'm happy to hide a single wire instead of dealing with the headache and expense of a complex install. Will likely get another to replace ours in a few years.

Sorry should have stated 75 inch QN90D. EPP offering $200 off for trade in (I have a 14 year old Samsung collecting dust in the closet) and hope I can swing the 10% off through chat to get this thing down to $1096 before tax.

I got this deal this morning. I had gotten on the chat in the app trying to get them to match the free bezel thing from yesterday on Walmart. The tech gave me the free bezel but that price was still higher than the EPP pricing with the $50 recycle rebate.
$920 out the door with taxes and with the the teak bezel for the 55". I think that is a good price based on everything I have seen.
