This flashlight being sold by Duracell should be a hint that this thing is made just to sell batteries... at this point I prefer using rechargeable flashlights. Many have battery cells that are easy to replace if they get old and don't hold a great charge any more. They don't require constantly burning through batteries, which isn't cheap and is terrible for the environment.
It's hybrid, has rechargeable and can take batteries. Run time: Rechargeable Battery: High≥ 2hrs, Low≥ 7hrs : Alkaline Batteries: High≥ 1.5 hrs, Low≥ 5hrs

I stand corrected, I didn't even look closely. Just associated it with some old duracell flashlights I've seen. Oops!

Bought these last week before they were on sale, of course. Not terribly impressed. Proprietary rechargeable cell in them that is really small, 1800mah. Why not do a decent cell guys? Otherwise takes 4 AAA batteries. Been pattern is the generic beam, adjustable spot to flood. At least you can recharge the batteries separate or in the light itself though, so that's a plus.

Someone didn't even take one minute to read the product description before posting a rant.

Actually quite a good deal, just put the 12 AAA Duracell's in other devices and use the rechargeable capability....most newer vehicles have USB ports, so ideal vehicle FL.

If you can recharge the AAAs, then you can use rechargeable batteries to begin with. The startup cost of the flashlights and 12 rechargeable AAAs may render this a poor deal after all costs are considered.

My store lists as 29 online. (Clearwater )(34-5). Should I go to store and see if marked lower?

Anyone know how easy it is to replace the rechargeable lithium battery that comes with this? Can a 18650 be used in place of the flashlight's rechargeable battery? Or is the rechargeable battery just a plastic shell that can be opened and inside is a 18650 that can be swapped out?

$25 near me. I only noticed because so many people were raving about the 3 pack of the work lights, I stopped into a Costco and saw these sitting next to what I actually went in for.

Anyway, hybrid with an included rechargeable battery and a sabot for regular AAAs is nice. They even include 12 Duracell AAA batteries which have a value around $6 (based on what Costco sells Duracell AAAs for), so at its worst this deal is about $19 for 3 LED flashlights which is a good deal in my book.
