I have this. The solar charging is very frustrating. It will read the correct watt number in half of the time but sometimes it does not show anything as if it's not charging while it actually is. Using the pecron solar panel. I don't really like it and won't buy it again for the price I paid $160.

I have this and love it. I use it to power a portable refrigerator that I keep in the trunk of my car for road trips. I run a cord from the cigarette lighter to this device to keep it topped up while travelling. I also use it to run an electric kettle so we can have hot tea at the rest stops on road trips. It's working great for the purpose so far. Never used it for solar, so I can't vouch for that.
Been using this on and off for the last year. Also have a set of ecoflow delta 2s for the last year.
I usually bring this one with me more because I'm not as worried about it breaking or getting stolen from my vehicle.
I typically use it for camping and inflating paddle boards at the shore.
It has worked great and for the price and I'm really not complaining but if I had to really give some complaints it would be I wish the charging cable didn't have a giant brick and that it was integrated in the unit itself. There is also a weird issue with some of the USB ports where it won't charge at full rate if you're using multiple ports? I can't remember really but I rarely use them anyways and they will get the job done.
also solar charging can be a bit spotty but it works well enough.
Solid for the price but I think it's also worth considering the ecoflow delta 2 is only another $150 and gets you 1024wh

I've had this for about a year. I bought it for backup power for Internet access. Works great for my need, providing power to the fiber modem for 12+ hours

Solid machine.
I have had this for about 1.5 yrs now.
Highly portable.
Although if someone want to start off with their first solar power station, I'd say go with the Oupes Mega 1.
Still highly portable with 2000w/1024wh for ~$390.
+1 from me on this unit.
Have this and some Ecoflow delta and many times i prefer this because of functionality, portability and price (not super worry if it gets scratched, etc.)
It does everything i need if used for weekends or light camping and it can do much more if you pair it with solar charging. It has worked flawless in the last 1.5 years and is a great value as an entry level station as long you understand his limitations. Peace.
I have this and have been quite happy with it using it many times over the last year. I use it to power my SetPower fridge/freezer or my Starlink Mini depending on the situation. I used my Renogy suitcase 200w panel to keep it charged up which worked well. I don't think $285 is a screaming deal as they are normally about $299. I'd buy it again...

I have this as well and have tested multiple panels without issue. What kind of panel are you using? The open circuit voltage is probably under the 32V required by the GX16MF port. The only time I had this problem is when I used a VCUtech 200w panel, which has a Voc of 23.76 Volts. It still charged, but the display wouldn't always show the correct watt number because of this.
If you are having trouble charging:
1. The working voltage of the panel is not in the following range.
DC5521 Port: Voc 12V~18V / 100W Max /7A Max.
GX16MF Port: Voc 32V~95V / 400W Max / 15A Max.
2. The battery level is close to 100%.
3. The "+ -" poles are connected incorrectly.
4. The solar panels have volts but no amps(less than 0.7A), this could be caused by internal faults of the panel itself, poor weather condition, or placed under shaded area.

I have owned this since summer of last year. So far, I have the same experiences as you. Haven't tried the solar. It is great at keeping the cost way fridge running through 3 days of camping and still enough juice for morning coffees. $285 out the door is a great buy for a 1,200 watt unit

Also, the price you see is what you will pay
