Deadwood, Carnivale, and Rome.

Three shows HBO ended before their time.

Really love this show, have the BR set but the sweet spot for a "deal" would have to be $5/season for me.

When I hear "complete series" in regards to this and Deadwood I'm always a little sad. Pullo and Vorenus were such great characters.

It's a shame that many of these deals aren't available on iTunes. I don't want to try remembering if/where I bought them, so just pass if it's not an MA title.

I'd pay $5 but the reality I think this has been $20 for blu ray on Amazon before. I could be wrong

One of the greatest shows of all time. It was only two seasons, but given the absurd cost of production (ensemble cast plus dedication to using historically accurate sets/costumes/props) I was glad they ended it on a high note.

James Purefoy, Polly Walker, Ciaran Hinds, Ray Stevenson, Kerry Condon, Indira Varma, Lindsay Duncan…all at their best.

Did you notice any improvements in image quality compared to streaming from HBO? The rule of thumb is that no streaming platform can beat a disc, but I don't know if BR makes any diff for an old show.

One of the best shows I've ever seen.

Still wouldn't buy digital because you don't actually own it.

Before Games of Thrones, and all other high quality shows that we see today, there was Rome. It was far ahead of its time and "expensive" to produce back then before shows nowadays have hundred millions of budget for production.

Perfection costs a lot. Still, I think we can all agree you get what you pay for: epic workmanship.
But, does it make sense to not this if you have HBO Max?
