The OG ones, these do not do true white in any form as they don't have a white led bulb, output is 25 lumens per bulb.
The version 2 (or called elites at some stores), have a white LED and are 40 lumens per bulb.
The Pro's have more white LED bulbs are 50 lumens each and can be spliced without voiding warranty. The pro's will have the most range of colors with the combination of LEDs included.
Skip the OG ones as they are only $20 cheaper than V2. So it's up to you between the pros and the v2/elite.
I don't need any splicing and not looking for super bright white (prefer warm white), so the V2/elites are what I'm going with.
Also, they all can technically be spliced if you know what you are doing. With the non-pros it's just not as user friendly as you need to DIY it. The pros come with connectors for splicing the wires.
I figured that the power supply would be the easy part, but no idea about the controller. My pro's had a power supply and then another slim box that has a power button...assuming the controller is in there?
I bet you do, Mr. Staffer. I have actually had their products( all dead now). for quality/price ratio, they are probably one of the worst products in the market.
You don't always get what you pay for going premium…
Philips Hue for example - haven't ever had one go completely out but definitely have had bulbs begin to encounter random power cycle / turn on at random times. I have Govee standing lamps and love them. Cheap and do the job.

Does anyone know how to avoid spotlighting? During non-seasonal days, using it as normal lighting makes it look like christmas lighting if spotlighted. Do you move the lights as far as you can to the edge of soffits?
I'm assuming by spotlight you mean the V shaped cone. If so yes you can move them out towards the Gutter more and it will spread the V out into a wider U shape. Tons of pics on Govee lights tips and tricks Facebook group
Anyone know where to get an additional Pro power supply and controller?
I've got a few strings leftover from my 200' kit and was thinking about adding to the patio.
(Just get the pro's fyi)
Is the patio attached to the house? If you already have the pros run splice an extension to your patio and you wouldn't need another controller. From my understanding you can splice and extend as much as you want you just can't run more lights than the 200' kit comes with.

Ohh reallllyyyyy, yeah its attached, but i ended my run at the 2nd floor on the opposite side of the house from the patio cover, so it would be a PITA to run that long of an extension (prob around 50'). I have an outlet on the patio cover, so i could easily plug them in if they would just sell the controller separately.....dammit.

Get the light strips if you do not want that V or U outline. I went with the strips for that exact reason and the effects are the same if not more fluid than these
Is there a way to do a Y-split so I can travel to a third car garage and continue with the main roofline? I haven't seen that kind of splitter on the Pro or regular version

At these prices it's not exactly like the knockoffs are much cheaper if at all.
If you are in the market for these style lights, Govee are the most reputable brand. If you can't provide a better option, then just move on.
